For example, we have sponsored several PhD students in the area of mortar system analysis. We have several products on the market which are the result of collaborations with suppliers and customers.
We use consultants and knowledge brokers which bring us into contact with potential innovation partners. We are aware that there are a great many companies and experts outside Akzo Nobel Chemicals AG that might already have invented things we could use for our own products. We are proud when we identify know how somewhere in the world and can convert it into new solutions for our customers.
